Ramadan 2025: March 5 Iftar and Sehri times Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Lucknow

Ramadan 2025 will see Muslims in India observing their third Roza; however, this is likely to be on Wednesday, March 5. During Roza, practicing Muslims get up before dawn to partake of a meal, Sehri, which marks the beginning of the fast and which they break at sunset with Iftaar.

In Delhi, sehri will be at 5:23 AM, whereas iftaar is at 6:25 PM on Tuesday, that is today.

Note: 1 minute preventative difference in Sehri (-1 min) & Iftar (+1 min)

Sehri and Iftaar timings: Delhi, Kolkata, Lucknow, and Mumbai. Yet keep in mind the timings are tentative; therefore, you should double-check with the nearest mosque.

It’s now simply looking at the list of Sehri and Iftaar timings on March 4 for the various cities:

Delhi: Sehri 5:23 AM and Iftar 6:25 PM

Lucknow: Mehfil-eh-Mustafa [saw] – Sehri 05:09 AM and Iftar 06:11 PM

Mumbai – Sehri: 5:42 AM, Iftar: 6:46 PM

Kolkata – Sweetest-Iftaar-Kolkata-4:40 AM

From Cochin-Kochi-5:27 AM-Iftaar-6:36 PM.

And March 4 in Chennai: Sehri-5:12 PM; Iftaar-6:19 PM.

During the month-long fast known as Roza, which finishes in between the festive Eid al-Fitr celebrations, people gather to celebrate, cook delicious treats, and spend time with friends and family.

Ramadan’s duration in 2025

Depending on when the crescent moon is visible, Ramadan in India will be observed till either March 30 or March 31. It began on March 2.

What time will Eid be observed?

Depending on if the next crescent moon is seen, Eid will be observed. Eid would be observed on April 1st if the moon was viewed on March 31st and on March 31st if the moon was sighted on March 30th.

Ramadan 2025 is significant because it commemorates the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) receiving the Quran as a revelation.
